Promoting Economic and Social Justice
Welcome to the Centre for Social Protection. We support a network of partners working to mainstream social protection in development policy and encourage social protection systems and instruments that are comprehensive, long-term, sustainable and pro-poor.
We produce research on:
- Conceptual approaches
- Design Issues, including delivery, targeting and affordability
- Impacts of different social protection initiatives
On these pages *currently under construction* you will be able to access publications, resources, project information and training materials by some of the leading thinkers and practitioners on social protection from around the world, focusing on a number of thematic areas including:
- Food Security and Agriculture
- Climate Change Adaptation

- Gender
- Children

The CSP is also the home of the CrisisWatch Initiative and the co-convenors of the Social Protection in Asia (SPA) programme
