Sustaining existing social protection systems in crises: How can we know more?

26 May 2022 13:00–14:00

This webinar focusing on systems is the first in a series of online discussions hosted by Better Assistance in Crises (BASIC) Research in collaboration with SocialProtection.org.

Analysis from BASIC Research has found that sustaining existing social protection programmes through a crisis is an increasing blind spot in situations where humanitarian and social protection programming intersect. Thus, this webinar will bring together interested practitioners, researchers, and policymakers to discuss what knowledge about sustaining social protection systems exists, and what other questions need to be explored – through BASIC Research and beyond.
