IDS Brazil Initiative

With the world’s eighth largest economy, sixth largest population and fifth largest land area, what happens in Brazil matters for development worldwide.

In recent years it has shown its ability to be both a beacon of inspiration and innovation for international development and an exemplar of some of the most severe global threats to sustainability and inclusion.

The IDS Brazil Initiative is a network of partnerships which focus on knowledge sharing, mutual learning and collaboration to develop new approaches to tackling issues such as climate change, poverty and injustice.
