Our session at the Virtual Postgraduate Open Day held by our partner the University of Sussex is a really helpful introduction to all things IDS.
Research Fellow and co-convenor on our MA Development Studies Stephen Thompson gives an overview of IDS and our programme of study. He was joined by current and former students who shared their perspectives of studying with us and answered questions such as:
- What international development experience do I need?
- How close are you to London and how easy is it to get there?
- What are your tips for writing a really good personal statement to help me stand out?
- Does the programme give students work experience or exposure to development related organisations?
