Anushka is a PhD candidate in International Development and Anthropology at the School of Global Studies and IDS. Her focus is on issues of gender-based violence in urban spaces and women’s use of mobile technology in Global South contexts. Her research is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

She is also a member of the Centre for Cultures of Reproduction, Technologies and Health (CORTH) at the School of Global Studies.
