Diah started her career by facilitating patent drafting and managing the intellectual property of the nation’s research organisation within its IP office, in Indonesia. In the nation’s research organisation, courses were also held mostly for patent drafting. Diah’s previous research was related to an IP – geographical indication – with a focus on law, society, and policy comparison studies among developed and developing countries. Last year Diah joined the Directorate of Research, Technology and Innovation Policy Formulation (BRIN), which focuses on policy analysis and research. Her first piece of research since joining BRIN focused upon synergies and collaborations in the development of a national COVID vaccine.
