Business from the BRICS

The Rising Powers in International Development Programme is looking at the growing role of business from the BRICS countries in the field of international development cooperation.

This thematic study is exploring the nature of the engagement of different BRICS business sectors in Africa, from large companies to small and medium-sized enterprises. What business practices do BRICS companies bring to Africa, and how do these compare with such companies’ domestic practices?
