Currently, much of Asia and South-East Asia is growing at an impressive rate. China is growing particularly fast, as more recently are some of the low-income countries, such as Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
This is allowing a very large reduction in poverty in these countries. Dynamism in Asia also plays a major role in facilitating growth in the rest of the developing world, and therefore increases poverty reduction there.
